Over the Hari Raya break my family and I flew down to Singapore and with a little help from Google we found a french restaurant called Saveur on Purvis Street. It was fancy french food in a casual setting. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. The best dish was the salmon confit, without a doubt.
It was a good find but luckily the food blogs had warned us that there's almost always a waiting list. We then tried to make a reservation and it turned out they don't take reservations. So we showed up at the restaurant just as it opened for dinner. It opened at 6pm, we were seated at 6.01pm and we weren't the first people there! The restaurant was already half full and by 6.30 they were bustling. We were also told that the shop lot next door belonged to them as well and boy do they need the extra space!
