It's so weird, Greek food was never part of my diet growing up, and I don't understand why! IT IS SOOO GOOD! I walked by this place last week and just needed to try it. 'Zeus Street Greek', I've been told by my Greek friend that this isn't strictly Greek, as you may be able to tell by the fries stuffed into my pita wrap. Well, whatever it is it's delicious.
I had the Purple Greek which is a pita wrap with lamb, beetroot hummus, onions and fries. When I saw fries I assumed that they would be on the side, I was wrong, if I had known I never would have ordered it cause it honestly sounds pretty gross. But I'm glad I was mistake because I would definitely eat this again. It may not be authentic Greek food but it's a hundred and ten percent comfort food. It's the type of greasy high calorie food you just need at 7am after studying all night. or just a regular old cheat day (basically everyday for me). I think I'll make more of an effort to try more new things and definitely more Greek food!
