Tea for two?
As a first time blogger I've decided to start it off with food! OBVIOUSLY. I've just come back from my trip to Europe with my family and am excited to share it with you all.
After taking a ferry ride to Nyhavn (newhan to those who didn't know i.e., ME) on a particularly gloomy day we rushed to find anywhere that would shield us from the harsh Danish winds. Being from Kuala Lumpur we aren't used to the kind of cold that isn't adjustable via remote control. We seeked solace in one of the many pubs along the river.
The food was amazing and I have the pictures to prove it! We had a slice of apple pie and hot chocolate with whipped cream. It was the definition of decadence. We also HAD TO HAVE the traditional Danish smorrebrod. These are delicious open sandwiches that the Danes are famous for, that and being the happiest people in the world. These treats didn't come without consequence though! And I'm not talking about the calories. And with everything in Copenhagen it was a little too pricey for my tastes but delicious nonetheless.
