Hands down, this meal was one of the best of my life (and god knows I've had an abundance of amazing meals). When I was in Korea a while back we visited the Noryangjin fish market in Seoul. It's this huge outdoor covered fish market with plenty of fish mongers and a large variety of seafood and you can pretty much just pick whatever live seafood you want from the sellers and they will cook it for you on the spot an serve it to you. IT WAS AMAZING.
This place was any seafood lovers heaven. If you wanted sashimi, you point to a fish and they will sashimi THW WHOLE fish for you right there on the spot. You're in the mood for crab? Not to worry, YOU CAN HAVE A WHOLE ALASKAN CARB. Octopus? It's so fresh that when they serve it to you it's tentacles are still moving because the nerves are still active. The octopus I admit might be a little too much for the less adventurous eater but for me? I'll eat it, and that is what I did. SO GOOD.
Also worth mentioning is that this is one of the cheapest places that you may ever find for abalone or sea urchin. Four pieces of abalone will cost you about RM30 to RM 40 which is not bad at all. If you're in Korea, I don't recommend you just go there, I'd say you should run there.
